Walnut Vinyl Album Frame

Built for one 12-inch LP cover, cut to the size you give me. The cover fills the frame edge to edge, the way it was designed to be seen. Open the back and you can swap albums whenever you want.

2 Cover size (inches)

Most covers are right around 12⅜″ square, so that's where these start. Covers vary a little by label, pressing and age, and an older jacket can swell a hair. If you have a ruler handy, measure yours across the front, edge to edge, and pick the closest 1/16″. I build the frame to that size.

Fits your record

Each frame is built for one standard 12-inch LP cover, at the width and height you choose above. The cover sits right behind the acrylic and shows edge to edge, with about ⅛″ tucked under the frame on each side to hold it.

Framing a 7-inch single, a 10-inch record, or a gatefold opened flat? Send me the size and I'll quote it.

What's included
  • A solid walnut frame in your profile, finished by hand with hard wax oil
  • Standard or UV protection acrylic, with an acid-free foam backer and flexible points to hold it all in
  • A sawtooth hanger, installed

Choose frame only if you already have your own acrylic and backing. You get the frame and the hanger.

Setting your album in

Lay the frame face down on something soft and bend the points up. Lift out the backer, set your cover in face down against the acrylic, put the backer back and press the points down. Changing albums later takes about a minute.

Shipping & returns

Free shipping anywhere in the US. Every frame is built to order, and most ship in about two weeks.

Why I make these

Some records never really go back on the shelf. The first one you bought. The one that played every Sunday. The cover is half of why you kept it. It belongs where you can see it.
